Recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Space since its creation in 1962, by the Ministry of Labour and by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Brest Business School is also a member of the Conference of Grandes Écoles (CGE).
It is also one of the first Grandes Écoles to launch work-study programs in 1996. It is regularly ranked among the top 3 schools in terms of its relationships with companies and work-study programs thanks to its many long-term partnerships and work-study pathways.
At Brest Business School, we believe that education should not confine students to a rigid framework, but rather allow them to explore it, push its boundaries, and develop to their full potential. Learning at Brest Business School means keeping your eyes open to the world, immersing yourself in diverse cultures, and enjoying an enriching experience that extends far beyond the classroom.
More than just supporting our students in their training, we make teaching a true exchange. Exploring new disciplines, developing transferable skills, daring to undertake things differently and thinking creatively: this is how we train professionals capable of acting effectively in a complex and globalized environment.
Brest Business School, an international business and management school, distinguishes itself through its expert and dedicated faculty, innovative teaching methods, and a stimulating environment that places the student at the heart of their learning. Our mission: to prepare open-minded, responsible, and innovative managers, while developing their critical thinking and autonomy.
Joining Brest Business School means becoming part of a human-sized school, connected to the world and to businesses, where each student can discover, experiment and build their future with boldness, creativity and purpose.
VISION: Education is fundamental to the future of the planet and society, particularly the education of young people, but also lifelong learning, which allows for the updating of knowledge and adaptation to multiple transitions. Education enables us to observe, listen, understand, share, collaborate, innovate, develop critical thinking skills, and conduct business in a sustainable and environmentally responsible way. E-learning, blended learning, and hybrid formats will be increasingly used to access this education, due to their practicality, the benefits in terms of time and logistics, the simplifications resulting from technological advancements, and new consumer habits.
MISSION: Drawing on its local area, a rich history of innovation, and its research activities, Brest Business School is committed to creating and transmitting knowledge in management science that addresses the profound changes impacting our planet, our society, and our organizations, particularly in terms of the environment, societal shifts, and technological advancements. This knowledge and these new technologies enable the training of ethical, responsible, and innovative leaders and managers, capable of understanding emerging challenges and the impact of their decisions, envisioning new organizations and new forms of commerce, and, together with their teams, creating and driving sustainable value within their companies. Brest Business School develops online blended learning and co-modal formats that deliver this knowledge to learners of all ages in France and internationally, while allowing them to continue their professional lives.
The programs offered by Brest Business School rely on a high-quality faculty with internationally recognized expertise. This faculty comprises permanent research professors and external professional speakers. The permanent professors are responsible for sharing their knowledge with students, drawing on existing literature as well as the extensive research they conduct in their respective fields of expertise within the school. The professional speakers—managers, consultants, entrepreneurs, and business leaders—ensure a seamless connection between academic knowledge and practical, real-world business applications.
Joining Brest Business School means seizing the opportunity to actively participate in campus life. On campus, you'll benefit from numerous services: an incubator, coworking spaces, a library, an international corner, community projects, collaborative workshops, and the Student Union (BDE). The various student associations (humanitarian, sports, communications, etc.), all grouped within the Student Union (BDE), are very active and committed on a daily basis.
Brest Business School works every day and in each of its programs to adapt the curriculum to all profiles. This is why, for several decades now, it has welcomed high-level athletes wishing to obtain a higher education degree from a Grande Ecole by offering them tailored pathways.
Awarded the "SHN Host Establishment" label by the Ministry of the City, Youth and Sports in 2014, Brest Business School is today one of the few business and management schools to offer a program dedicated to SHN athletes as well as High Level Artists and Good National Level Athletes.
In practical terms, the school offers tailored programs that allow students to combine their academic studies with intensive sports training in clubs and competitions. This can involve adjustments to the timetable or the duration of the program, authorized absences, etc.
WHAT IS A HIGH-LEVEL ATHLETE?

Additionally, some online banks offer specific benefits for students.
Student liability insurance is crucial for protecting yourself against the risks of causing damage to others, whether on campus, during an internship, or in everyday life. It covers you when you are held responsible for an accident or damage, covering the cost of repairs or necessary medical expenses. This insurance is often required for enrollment in certain institutions or for participation in school activities. To choose the right coverage and fully understand the benefits offered, it is advisable to consult a specialist like Studyassur , the leading neo-insurance company specifically designed for students and young professionals.
